An automatic gearbox is available as an option, but this test car is fitted with a six-speed manual. We has a Stelvio on its was to us that has been on order for some months now. Having recently owned an F Pace for 10 months and 17k, it’s a car that cannot live up to the hysterical reception of this magazine has given it. It’s also properly thirsty. But I agree entirely that this publication in particular has been unfairly critical of the Stelvio. Torque remains at lb ft.

Besides, the Driver Preference Dial lets you tweak through Touring, Sport, Performance and Track modes, so you can build up to lighting the rear tyres up like an aerosol on a barbeque. Not worth that much, even if there are only 15, curious though on the home age that an image of the next M5 was underneath?
Original military-chic civilian off-roader enters a fourth Wrangler-badged On track, brake torque vectoring vdr8 huge six-piston calipers with mm discs give all that mass a chance of making the apex; in fact, for a big car with a heavy lump of metal over the front wheels, this VXR8 turns in pretty smartly.

The drive was based out of Melbourne because, as you’ll know, the big Vauxhall is actually an Aussie-built Holden Commodore, and the two companies were both GM subsidiaries.
I guess you could argue this is a fairly unique model in the market and offers something genuinely different, so deserves to be judged in a different, slightly rose tinted way. The engine is a total monster, pulling through long vxe8 ratios with an unrelenting force. We’ve had an exclusive drive. The VXR8 is rear-wheel drive only, of course. The usual caveats apply, in that the Germans — your M5s and E63s — have a far more premium feel, especially inside, for not that much more cash.
Something tells me somebody got a bit carried away here. An automatic gearbox is available as an option, but this test car is fitted with a six-speed manual.
