From your uploaded picture you’ll notice that you’ve got “Use rimshott points” enabled. But enabling it will have no effect – since there are no loop points. I actually compared back and forth with other samples, the loop points option wac checked on more samples in fact, which confused me. Render time without it, 50 seconds. But this one sample is grinding my rimshot wav to a halt! That does sound very strange.
