The chakra purusha in Pancharatra texts has either four, six, eight, sixteen, or thirty-two hands,  with double-sided images of multi-armed Sudarshana on one side and Narasimha on other side called Sudarshana-Narasimha in Pancharatra within a circular rim, sometimes in dancing posture found in Gaya area datable to 6th and 8th centuries. It is the duty of the great god to help his bhaktas irrespective of the caste, religion, thing etc. The one with 8 arms is benevolent and is the form generally found in Vishnu’s temples in present time. He helps his bhaktas who are in great danger. The anthropomorphic form of Sudarshana can be traced from discoid weapons of ancient India to his esoteric multi-armed cult images in the medieval period in which the Chakra represented by his cult people served the supreme deity Vishnu as his faithful attendants. He is the Supreme One, who is the ocean of countless Kalyana Gunas, excellent qualities, who causes his Bhaktas to tremble with fear. Chakrathalwar at Tirumala As in all other holy places of Vishnu in the entire country, the way Sudarshana serves Vishnu at Tirumala also has a lot of spiritual, divine, devotional and even topographic significance at Tirumala.

Lord Narasimhas nails an incarnation of Sudarsana Chakra. Answers, which quotes the Ahibudhnya Samhita, one of the Pancharatra texts which were foundational in the development of Vaishnavism. However, there is no conclusive proof so far. In this way, the nails of Nrsimha accompany the Lord in His various avatars.
