Money I don’t have a graphics card in this machine. It’s not hard to start typing “settings” into the search field to see where to go to make changes. Ubuntu has a history of releasing essentially beta software, while ignoring chronic problems like sound issues , but this release is the last straw. They’re both moving to Gnome 3 now. BUT I can assure that those people: Do you like the look of that interface?

What is it now? I guess its back to Ubuntu dtar stable and workable out of the box and turned me around from being a Gnome sceptic and dragged me over from SUSE. Want to launch an application? And what an adventurous experience that was. Perhaps when it becomes configurable it could be an option for me, warrs not in it’s current state. Not 3940z1080 what you mean by some of your terminology like the title bar the decoration on the top of each application windows?
How do I change the location of launcher? It’s because I can’t change it that I hate it. In fact, I can’t even right click on the taskbar. Further more, it was impossible to move the window around.

I dont know the proper name for it lol I dont know, I dont think its that bad, I dont use the stuff under there often and if I do I just search for it anyway. I haven’t read about your issues, don’t intend to and most definately won’t comment on them.
Take the simple philosophy of small commands with the ability to be piped together that is the foundation of unix and thus Linux. I work for a somewhat large, “Redmond based company”. That link staar my current desktop on my primary machine.

You can implement the search function much more efficiently and with much less overhead by just bringing up a small dialogue box like in synapse. I’m sure it will only get faster and better. Will stick it out and report back after 24 hrs of trial and error. As a user, use what you want, but for a company who contributes very little back upstream to gnome for the amount they leverage it, its a bit disheartening.
If app developers and corporations who put out applications writing for X get behind wayland, I can totally see this happening, but it wont be in RHEL until that happens, and therefore it will not “switch” from X in fedora either. The popover apps interface is inconceivably awful.

Compared to Gnome 3 it’s very complicated. I don’t hate it, I just think it needs to have options to configure. Classic logs in quickly, unlike Unity even after a cold boot. Is there some way to check?
